Corporate Social Responsibility - Vendor Pre-Qualification & Auditing
ES&M conducts vendor pre-qualifications and audits to determine alignment with our customers' expectations for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), safety performance & environmental impact. CSR topics include, but are not limited to, Corporate Principles, Core Values, Code of Conduct; Business Integrity & Policies; and Environmental Sustainability. Safety scores are derived from safety data (EMRs, OSHA 30OA logs, insurance letters, etc.) for screening against acceptable criteria. Environmental compliance is reviewed to determine if there are any significant issues that would raise a red flag for further assessment. In addition, ES&M may focus on a particular service that the vendor is proposing and audit for credibility and compliance.
Company statements, project work scopes, company procedures and protocols are reviewed, employees are interviewed and vendors are pre-qualified against EH&S and CSR screening criteria and a report is generated. ES&M reviews findings with the customer stakeholders, thus providing support for decision making regarding vendor qualification. This process also provides the customer with an opportunity to work with vendors and improve alignment.
