ES&M's Engineering Services at PACE-RI's New Flagship Center Located in Riverside, RI
PACE-RI, is a non-profit organization founded to help local elders live safely at home, stay out of the hospital and nursing home, and reduce strain for their caregivers.
ES&M played a key role in PACE-RI’s $10.5M redevelopment of their new flagship center and headquarters. Located on Tripps Lane in Riverside, Rhode Island, this facility provides day center services (the most participants of any other PACE site) and is home to PACE-RI’s administrative, operational, and clinical staff.
ES&M completed all the civil (site/utilities) engineering and permitting for this project. We also provided construction administration services through the final punch list walkthrough and project completion certification.
ES&M’s engineering design efforts included:
• Grading plans
• Design of new sewer service and access hatches to existing sewer pump station
• Design of new water service line and coordination with Water Department
• Relocation of existing stormwater drainage system components
• New entrance access driveway & ADA compliant entrance walk
• Reconfiguration of facility parking spaces
• Design of new outdoor concrete patio with security fence
• Design of new grease trap and new dumpster pad
• Design of new facility fencing
