Construction of West Warwick River Walk

Background:
The West Warwick Citizens Committee envisioned a river walk along the Pawtuxet River. This scenic treasure would extend from River Point Park to Veterans Square and be available for all to enjoy. The West Warwick River Walk would allow people to have closer contact with the river and to enjoy the view of the mills that are so much a part of the town and its history.
Scope of Work:
The project began from Factory Street to the Royal Mills Dam Overlook and included 2,430 linear feet of stabilized soil pathway, pedestrian bridge, parking area, exposed aggregate concrete walks, and extensive landscaping.
